Easy Guide for Video uploaders-Encoding,Editing,Ripping,Water-marking,etc of Videos

Encoding,Editing,Ripping,Water-marking,etc of Videos - Easy Guide for Video uploaders

Dear friends, newbies and seniors

This is my small effort to just help those who want to contribute with videos but don't know the basics of Ripping, encoding, watermarking, etc.

I have been receivng so many PMs in past few months from my fellow MBians and my dear friends asking me to guide them in watermarking etc.

I had a thread started for this purpose before.
But, it was not clear and without screen caps
It was when i was also experimenting so many things and was not sure of

Now, after being in MB for sometime and after getting used to some video tools, i have started this thread.

This thread can be used for discussions related to video related tools.

New ideas and better softwares are always welcome

Expecting more valuable ideas and tools from some great uploaders here

Last but not as least,
Please feel free to criticise and point out the mistakes i might have committed anywhere for the betterment of thread and myself

Regards,

skr

Note:

Dear Supermods/moderators ,

This thread is mainly related to the Videos, Hence,i have started this thread here.
because, there are only a few members from video-section are visiting the helps section.
Hence, I have opened this thread in video section.
This willbe verymuch helpful for not only the newbies but also for all the members I beleive.
Keeping this sticky for a few days

Still this thread needs to be moved to tutorial section feel free to inform me or do it by yourself

1. Encoding videos

1. Encoding videos

I prefer to encode in Divx format as it is easy with given default profiles,
coming built-in with the converter.
X-VID format is also good but, a bit difficult for those who are new to encoding.

First,
Download Divx converter trial version from here,

Don't PM me for full version

Run setup as per the screen instructions

Finish the setup, restart the computer and start the Divx converter.
